Welcome to The Alucast Blog

Let’s be honest – most people don’t spend a large portion of their spare time reading about environmentally friendly manhole covers for the drilling industry. We get that – there’s nothing wrong with spending time reading about fantasy football news or most recent political drama.

However, if you’re a driller who’s interested in learning about ways to protect your drill site, someone who works in the industry, or just want to stay up to date on industry news, then stick around as we’ll be posting interesting content every Thursday morning for the foreseeable future.

Who Are We?

Where are our manners? Allow us to reintroduce ourselves: We’re Alucast Inc, and we manufacture the best and safest monitoring well protection in the world. Based out of Ottawa, Canada, our products are higher quality, lighter, and the choice of drillers all over the world.

These are bold claims, we get that. So what makes us so confident? We spent two years on market research and spoke with 200 drilling companies. People just like you told us about their issues with conventional manhole covers that rust, break, spark and suffer from stripped or seized bolts.

Our  founder, Jeff Garby, has been there. He worked in the environmental remediation industry as a driller and engineer for 20+ years. These experiences proved to him that well protection had to evolve. Engineers, distributors and drillers alike deserve a higher quality and more reliable product at a competitive price.

What Type of Content Can You Expect?

We’ll be talking about a wide range of topics in the drilling world, including:

  • Important drilling industry updates from Canada and across the world
  • Product updates and news about the Alucast line of manhole covers
  • Interviews with industry influencers, company leaders and other folks in the drilling industry
  • And much more

So while we can’t keep the white hard hats away from your drill, we can definitely keep you up to date with everything happening in the drilling world. In the meantime, feel free to contact us with any questions here.

Thanks for reading and we’ll see you every Thursday morning!
